Great video guys, and health – my fav topic.

I think it’s also important to note that eating well and exercising can actually be fun. Most of the exercise I do is with a group or a friend because it combines social with exercise which makes it more like having fun with friends than having to do a work out. If it wasn’t for my skating group then I wouldn’t be bothered to skate 20k! And I often catch up with my girlfriends over a walk or bike ride.

And the problem with eating well is most of us have no idea how to or know where to start. Probably the best advice I can give is to start with eating more fresh, whole foods (and preferably organic) which means anything that’s not in a packet. So plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains. Cook more vegetarian meals because it’s a great way to incorporate more veggies into your diet. And try making raw desserts – the easiest and funnest way to enjoy sweet food and still be healthy :)

Thanks for that practical advice Fran – as usual you’ve made some really awesome points!

I especially resonate 100% with the social exercising sentiment. Most of my best exercise routines are social including gym workouts with a gym mate, surfing with my surfing crew or going for a skate with a bunch of friends!

And yup, fresh and raw is definitely greater then old and processed foods – and they tastes nicer too!!
