It was a really nice day outside today and working a really busy job can make it hard to be able to get out there and enjoy days like today. I decided to kill two birds with one stone – both head out to enjoy the day AND get some work done.
In this video I talk about some changes that I have brought into my life to increase my levels of productivity and work efficiency, allowing me to spend less time in the office and giving me more time to head out and enjoy outdoor activities that I enjoy – like surfing!
I cover three aspects of productivity in this video:
- Project and task prioritisation
- Time management
- Having the right work environment
Something I mention briefly in the second section of the video (Time Management) is the 80:20 rule. I don’t really go into any detail of the rule in the video, but you can read a summary of the rule written by Alborz in this article, The 80:20 Rule.
At any rate, it was fun getting outside to make this video, I hope you enjoy it!
Cheers,
Chris.
